How we handle your enquiry.

What we collect and why

When you contact us, we collect the business name, your name, an email address or phone number, and the enquiry topic. A free-review request also asks for your business location, industry and, optionally, your role and a website or social-page link. We record the time of the request and any page or campaign information attached to its link.

We use this information to respond, arrange and carry out the review you requested, discuss a possible Caretake service, and keep a record of that conversation. The forms ask for your agreement to use your details for that purpose. We do not ask for patient records, medical histories, student records or other sensitive personal information; please do not send them through these forms.

Where it goes and who can access it

Form submissions are saved in a restricted area of our SternHost hosting account, outside the public website. An email alert containing the business contact details is sent to a Caretake mailbox and forwarded to the operator’s private inbox. Access is limited to people handling Caretake enquiries and the providers needed to host the website and deliver email. These providers may process data outside Nigeria. We do not sell enquiry details.

The hosting provider may keep technical logs needed to run and protect the site. Some photographs load from Unsplash, which may receive normal browser request information when an image loads. The site does not currently run advertising trackers or optional analytics in production.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep enquiry information while it is needed to respond, arrange a review, follow up on a possible service, or meet a legal obligation. We review older enquiries and remove details that are no longer needed. Restricted storage and account access protect the saved records; hosting backups and email copies may remain until their normal retention periods expire. If you become a customer, the handling of service records will be described in the separate agreement.

Your choices and questions

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to further use, or withdraw your form agreement where applicable. Use our contact form and identify the request as a privacy matter. We may need to check that the request comes from the person concerned and may retain information where the law requires it. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
